Recruitment test The recruitment test for the post of Assistant Station Master will be in two steps. The first written test will be number 60. Time allotted 90 minutes. In the written test, the minimum pass mark is 50 percent, that is, at least 35 marks. The written test will be Bangla-20, English-20, Mathematics-15 and General Knowledge-15. The answers to the questions in the written test usually have to be written in a sentence or two. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. Number 1 of each question. There is no negative marking. Those who pass the written test will have to face the oral test number 30.

Grammar preparation should be done from the ninth-tenth grade Bangla grammar book written by Munir Chowdhury. And for practice one can read a book from a good quality publication in the market, especially the questions of the past year given at the end of each chapter. A good quality book is enough. No need to buy multiple books.

However, those who are weak in the basics of mathematics, they need to take a little extra care.
Mathematics can be divided into three parts. Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry. There are about 9-10 questions from arithmetic. This part is the most important. Understand arithmetic from 5th-8th grade math books to prepare for maths. For example, history of Bengal, language movement, liberation war, Bangabandhu, constitution, identity of Bangladesh, executive branch, judiciary, culture of Bangladesh, communication system of Bangladesh, especially railways, resources of Bangladesh, economy of Bangladesh, education, sports etc. are important. In addition, international organizations and organizations for international affairs, state systems of different countries, capitals and currencies, geographical diversity (mountains, seas, systems, canals), important conferences, treaties, sports, etc.
For better preparation in general knowledge, one should read the economic pages of daily newspapers, international and sub-editorials regularly. Important data can be kept in a notebook.
