What is the current situation?

The Ministry of Education is responsible for the education system of Bangladesh. They make every important decision regarding every school and college in the country. Every year it is their responsibility to determine the time when the SSC and equivalent exams are to be held.

But this year the situation is a little different. With the sudden emergence of the Corona Virus, nothing is the same anymore. Nothing is normal, almost every sector of the country has been affected and the Education Sector is one of them.

The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh gave a quick response in order to handle the situation. Educational institutions of every level have been closed down due to the emergency situation caused by the Corona Virus. Students had to stay at home for their own safety.

Fortunately, the Government of Bangladesh launched many measures in order to make sure that the loss of the student remains at a minimum. Presently, students can take classes online, and the syllabus has also been shortened for the students’ convenience.

Unfortunately, due to multiple waves of the Corona Virus, the school and college continue to remain closed. But, the SSC exam is an important step in any student’s life, so it must be held.

When Will SSC Exam 2023 start?

Students have been eagerly waiting for the Ministry of Education to make a decision about whether the SSC exam for the year 2023 was going to be held or not. The Ministry of Education has the full authority to decide and change the exam routine or the exam date.

They have to consider the current situation of the Corona Virus in Bangladesh and also listen to the opinions of the guardians of the students. If the situation turns to the worse then there is a possibility that the exam date will be further delayed.

After a long wait, The Ministry of Education has published the all-important Secondary School Certificate Routine or SSC routine for 2023. They published the final SSC Exam Routine 2023 and the standard education system as usual.

Currently, there are 9 general education boards and 2 special boards in Bangladesh. Mymensingh Board is the newly formed board in Bangladesh. It is possible that exams will be held on every board by maintaining strict health regulations.
