All the subjects in which the examination is not conducted in the Alim examination

For the knowledge of the students, I want to know that.  This year, the Alim exam is not being held in some special subjects.  All those subjects will be assessed by mapping.  The matter of mapping and evaluation, has been previously informed by the Ministry of Education.

• Al Fiqh First Paper of science department students will be assessed by subject mapping of Arabic literature and ICT subjects.  Examination of all these subjects will not be held.
• General category students will not be examined in Alim ICT subject.  The subject will be evaluated by subject mapping.
• Students of Mujabbir Mahir department will not be examined in ICT subjects.  This subject will also be assessed by subject mapping.

Alim 2023 Exam subject wise distribution

Bengali Paper II and English Paper I and II Examination	50 marks.
Practical	45 marks (Formative 30 Impersonal 15).
Except practical	55 marks (Formative 40 Impersonal 15).

Science subjects being practical will have slightly less number of questions than Humanities.

Also the question pattern of other subjects will be slightly different.

 

Some important information about HSC (Alim) exam

25 MCQs of science section have to answer 25. In the theory test three out of eight questions, have to be answered in one hour and 40 minutes. Humanities and Business stream students have to answer 15 out of 30 MCQs in 20 minutes Time to answer four out of 11 questions in theory test in one hour and 40 minutes.
